Spinner caps for Bullit Wheels

I may be showing my age but I liked the way knock offs looked on the Hallibrand wheels on a AC Cobra or the spinners on the old Cragar SS wheels.
Ever seen spinners that would fit the center caps on 17" Bullit Wheels?

Re: Spinner caps for Bullit Wheels

tell me that the Hallibrand wheels on Cobra and Shelbys didn't look good with spinners (knock offs). Not those spinners that they put on ghetto pigs

oh i get it.... when i think spinners i think secondary wheels that spin independantly of the wheel itself. those are just hub covers. and personally, i think they only look good on classic cars. once you get into boxes on wheels (read: 80s cars) then they're pretty much out.

i have a thing for powdercoated wheels. i might get that done to a set of draglites when i get my motor transplant done.

Re: Spinner caps for Bullit Wheels

Just saw "Gone in 60 Seconds" on the tube the other night. A bad movie with great cars. His "Unicorn": Eleanor was a sweet looking '67 Shelby GT 500 with knock off wheels. I too, have a thing for classic looking Mustangs.
I put the 17" Antracite Bullitt wheels on my '95 GT DF green ragtop. I lowered it 1 3/4" with Eibach springs, so the wheels fill the wheel wells quite nicely. I think some polished three point spinners might look good on it.

Take a look at this:

http://www.mach1review.com/M1RHalibrandWheels-1A.html

You can buy new Halibrands... Dunno if you can get spinners to add onto Bullitt rims.

Hey colorado --- check this out

http://www.halibrand.com/index_frames.htm

They sell the knock off's separately it appears. At the bottom of the page is a link to contact Halibrand. They should be able to figure out if any of their 'spinners' will fit your rims.

Good luck

P.S. Let us know how things turn out.

Re: Spinner caps for Bullit Wheels

Pull out the center cap on your wheel and measure the hole. Mustangs Unlimited sells center caps that look like the knock offs. If they're 2" - 2.125", they'll fit.

Thats what they look like...

Re: Spinner caps for Bullit Wheels

search for "center spinner"
spinner has to be singular, or it wont work.
Here is the name of the product on their site:
Wheel Center,Magnum 500 W/3 Bar Spinner
search using any of those words.
Or better yet, search using the part #:
1130MS
Any of those will get it for you.
By the way, DONT click on 74-04 mustangs. Just click the 'enter' sign, type in 1130MS in the search field, and search.

I am going to hold out for the Hallibrands, if I can find a dealer. I like the polished look over the chrome.
Thanks for the help
