I cant stand driving down the highway and some jerk decides to ride your ass. TRAFFIC, you cant change lanes, you cant go any faster, but this just doesnt get it

Personally I give them 2 chances, then BAM :22yikes: OOPPS: did I do that, so sorry. I guess those reds caught you by surprize.

I admit I tail gate myself sometimes, but all lanes are open and your doing 70 and someone is doing 60 in the fast lane. If you dont want to drive with the pace of traffic, then stay in the slow lane.

I agree, that's one of the main things that pisses me off when driving on highways. One time, this one guy was tailgating my friend when he was doing 55 in a 45 speed limit zone and only one lane. My friend slowly slowed down all the way up to 15 mph. It was really funny...and this one time in band camp...

slowin down to piss 'em off is fun...On halloween in '02, I was comin back from goin cave'n, and some people were ridin my ass on a on a one lane one way road....i stopped!! lol...dude got out of his car, i let him reach my back bumper then left him...too funny.

one day this guy was right on my ass and it was pretty heavy traffic to a point where he couldnt pass me and there were people in front of me so i couldnt go any faster and he was right on my ass... like within 3-5 feet and i was getting pissed off so i signaled out the window for him to get off my ass and all he did was give me the finger... so i slammed on the breaks, grabed the bat that was in my back seat and stopped in the middle of the road... went back to his truck with the bat on my shoulder and told him to get off my ass before something unexpectingly happens! he started talking smack and i explained to him why i couldnt go any faster cause he kept saying well your goin so damn slow... THERE WERE PEOPLE IN FUCKING FRONT OF ME!!!! damn your truck sits higher than my car... you should be able to see the cars in front of me... maybe bitch at the person that is leading the pack of cars! so i walk back to my car and start to go again and he gets right on my ass so i traveled 15mph in a 45mph zone until he got off my ass and never again did he get closer than 25-30 ft! lol fuckin pricks!

I don't get all worked up over it. Unless there are headlights shining in my mirror, its their responsibility to be able to stop if I do. While I don't want to get into an accident, I'm not going to do something to help them get into one with me.

A friend was asking me this question. Aomeone rearended him when he was slowing down, and the guy's dad was calling him and talking shit how he was gonna call his lawyers if he didn't pay for the costs of his sons car ummm, some people are insanly stupid. Didn't anyone in the drivers ed class learn how much distance to keep between you and the car in front of you?

So, if accidents happen, do the cops ALWAYS blame it on the guy who rearended the guy in front of him?

personally, i hate it when people tailgate me too...absolutely hate it. i'm not a slow driver either. When people ride my ass, i'm always tempted to slam on my brakes to scare the guy in back of me (though also risk him/her hittin me as well). I mostly tap my brakes repeatedly. After a while, they eventually go around me (after giving me a look, in which i politely return with a middle finger), then speed off. I understand how much it can piss someone off, so props to you EclipseRST

I Hate it but I just tap my brakes enough for my brake lights to come on and let them know they are following too close. usually the person backs off, the last thing I want is an accident.

It doesn't even matter if someone cuts you off, then slams the brakes. its YOUR fault.

"unable to stop in assured clear distance" because we have no-fault insurance here, both parties end up paying anyways, but the rear-ender gets the ticket for 80 bucks, as well as 2 points on his liscence. (6 points and you go on a sort of probation)

this is on of the hot topics with insurance people, cus you can imagine how people would do this to try and fraud others out of money...

hehe having a lifted truck tail gaters don't bother me except that if they hit me from behind they would prolly flip my truck, i let them get nice and close, slow down then when they pass i pull fairly close and flip my brights, Hella's and driving lights all on, then slowly pull back. Not road rage it doesn't upset me, i just think they need to know what it feels like and being a big truck maybe it'll hit home a little more LOL.

Road rage is something I like, if theres any assholes that try and cut me off, they'll have me follwo them until the point where they're scared shitless. It runs in the family...but when it comes to roa rage and cutting people off, I tend to be a hypocrit...
