Fake Roush or Real?
ok well my friend is getting a new car. hes looking at the mustang roush. ok well he found this roush dealer and he found one called a Roush Baker GT. they dealership is Baker Ford in illinois. and me and my friend are having a arguement saying this is not a real certified Roush. its a 2003 GT with 5000$ worth of roush parts on it. it has body kit, imbroidered(sp) seats taht say roush, gauges taht say roush, magnaflow exhaust and a roush shorthrow shifter and a functional shaker hood, like the one on the mach 1s. we are saying its not a really roush. the guy there claims it is and said there was only 2 made. my friend said it comes with roush paper work and he insists its a real one. but its not even a classic of stage one. we think its not cause its a GT with roush parts. its like someone getting a GT and making a saleen replica.anyone in here that would know anything about this or anyone that wants to express thier opinion.... do u think its a real certified roush? thanks

see if you can get the VIN run through at a ford dealership. e-mail it to me, I work at a Ford dealership. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure how to find out.

Pop the trunk and look under the trunk decklid. Is thier a lil tool kit mounted up there with a Roush Gold coin in the center? If so then it is probably an official Rousch built car.
