Venom 400

does anyone have a venom 400 for the 5th gen lude or know how good they work. If they are worth the money, and if it voids your warranty?

well...
they only work at wot, like when you floor it, they have an on/off switch, so it don't fuck with your settings, like if you took the car in...

it's worth roughly 1-2tenths, and 3-5 mph in 1/4 mile...

i sell em so i know way too much...

i have heard them to be good and bad... i have only seen them to be good though...

and my friend's civic ex did manage the 2 tenth better times as well as 4mph higher, so im not just quotin... they are worth it if you floor it alot, but not noticeable otherwise...

also... if you are looking at comp mods, why are you worried about warranty?

Hey I had a Venom 400 in my Accord....please don't be biased because you sell them...but have you noticed anything problematic on automatic models?? Instead of it not kicking in until 40% or more throttle...If I barely rested my foot on the gas it would downshift as much as it could instantly....I do NOT wanna screw up the tranny on my 'Lude as it is the SS....I am interested in anyone who has an SS and has one of these that notices a 1/4 difference and no problems...

IMHO, no real benefit - certainly not worth the price. Even their own marketing materials claim no effect at WOT. Just push the gas pedal down further if you want to go faster.

bbaa bab ba Im back

all the venom 400 control module will do is trick your ecu into thinking the thorottle is completely open all the time. The only increase in numbers you are gonna see is the price at the gas station. spend your money elsewhere.
