I will be transplanting a h22 w/tranny 5-speed into my 93 prelude (it currently has the f22 engine w/5 speed), will i need to change the shifter rods for the tranny or can i re-use them?
And will the cv shafts need to be replaced when i am transplanting or are they the same dimensions on both? Thanx |

I'm assuming you have the same f22 as the accord for that year. I know that on an accord the h22 will drop right in for a 4th gen accord so I would imagine it would be the same for your car. I don't even need the tranny, my tranny bolts right up to the h22.

Re: Shifter rods and cv shafts
Thanx for the info. My 3rd gear synchro is going and it grinds going into 5th gear. The h22 comes with a 5-speed tranny with it from a 95 prelude (front clip) so i am going to replace the whole power and drive train units. I will be doing this after work for a week. Wish me luck.
