A few questions
Hi Everyone,
Have a few questions, we have a 1995 Aurora with 175,000 miles on it, it still runs great and of course it has it's problems. Now it is starting to over heat, the other day it over heated and went into limp mode. Today replaced the thermostat and the temp is down while driving when you stop and let it idle the temp goes up to around 240-250 and seems to like it there. It does not get up high enough to go into limp mode again. But I think it is a little too high, what do you think and any suggestions? Also, was looking for the thread about where to get a new battery and can't find it. Help on that to?? |

Have the radiator flow tested and your cap pressure tested. If youve put a new thermostate in and your coolent level is ok this cuts down on things that could be wrong.

Re: A few questions
Water pump is shot. Replace it. See the "Where the heck can I find a battery" thread on page 2.
