zdyne gold SECU or hondata s200

I was looking at ecu's a minute ago and was wondering what is the better ecu, the hondata or the zdyne, the hondata is cheaper at first but after I add the 3 stage rev limiter and al the things needed to tune myself. it is 1000 bucks. the zdybne is 1050 but then I get 200 back for the core exchange. so it is a bit cheaper, but whihc one is easier to tune?

I might be going to CA soon cuz I found a crx wiht a body kit, lowered and a brand new deep blue paint job for 1500 bucks cuz it has lots of miles but it runs, and I wanna get my B20 in there, and that way its cheap enough I can keep my daily car and work on this for however long I need to and still have wheels.

The hondata is the best bang for the buck. I have never personally played with the zdyne unit, but I have heard lots of good things about it. My personal favorite though if you have the money is AEM EMS. Go download the demo from their website, you will be impressed.

Re: zdyne gold SECU or hondata s200

I downloaded the demo and halfway through the install it askes for disk 2. I tried just clicking ok to see if it would bypass, I tried clicking cancel but it exits installation. how hard is the wiring for dropping in a OBD0 CRVTEC(the OBD crap is all pretty much on the head right, so even if I have a OBD2 block I got a OB0 setup since I got a OBD b16a swap for the frank swap), and it goes into a 88-91 CRX most liekely, I found one for a good deal and cant get a hold of the guy though.

They usually go for around 1,500 or so depending on what you get, it has a couple things you can add on as far as I know ie. uego and something else.

Check their website about the OBD thing. Alot of systems like hondata require OBD1, you could always convert it. My motor was OBD0. You should not have a ploblem with the block, like you said most of the OBD related parts are on the head.

I guess I couold just get the SIR2 swap and convert the tranny, or buy/trade for a cable tranny.
