Ghost in the machine?
My Park Avenue is an 89, and recently while driving and sittting at stop lights, the power door locks will lock and unlock, then lock and unlock again. They'll do this for quite awhile, just locking and unlocking by themselves. Anyone ever heard of this, or know the cause?

Re: Ghost in the machine?
Sounds like a stray signal simular to the frequency of your remote. Check to see if there is a Police radar unit operating in the area next time this happens.

I had a 88 park ave that did the same thing. It would just happen out of nowhere. It ran the battery down once, and wouldn't let me in another time. The power seat on the drivers side would move all the way up until it was so close to the steering wheel that you couldn't even get in. Everyday it would do something different like turning the headlights on and off, the drivers window going down by itself, and the radio turning its self on and off. I named it Christine and then sold it a few months later. I couldn't trust it. This is a true story just to let you know. Everyone that I have told this to thinks that I'm nuts and need to be medicated.
