1991 Dodge Spirit Steering Problem
We have a 1991 Dodge spirit. The steering is sometimes really stiff on it when turning either right or left, and other times there's no problem at all. I've checked the fluid levels of the power steering, the belt seems to be in good shape and tight. Any other ideas?

power steering difficulty (intermittent)
Provided the ball joints ant upper strut mounts are in good working order it's time to look at the rack and pinion. Likely you had difficulty in one direction first then the other directoin soon after. Unfortunately this is a costly and time consuming job. Good luck
