Texas Rally VIII

OK, for all you folks in Texas, it looks like we are finally going to hold another Texas Rally. Our last one was over two years ago, and that's entirely too long.

It's going to be at Throttle Position Motorsports in Dallas, or more specifically, Denton. Looks like it will likely be the beginning of April, but I will post dates once they become firm.

Throttle Position Motorsports is owned and operated by Vince McCurley who used to be the go-to guy to buy your parts from at Courtesy Nissan. He is a long-time SR20 supporter and was even at the very first Texas Rally four and a half years ago. James Vick, who works for Vince, owns a Sentra SE-R.

If you're in Texas, you should plan on attending this event.

A Texas Rally is simply a gathering of SR20 enthusiasts. It's not a race or any kindn of competition. The first one was tagged that by someone and it just stuck.

So, plan on coming. Hell, you SoCal folks should just plan on making the 24 hour trip. :right:

24 hours ir really not that bad especially with another person... I did that for the Convention two years ago. Phoenix to Dallas, non-stop. I was the co-pilot on the way out, we drove straight through (well, we stopped a couple times for food, restrooms, meet up with people along the way, etc...) but it wasn't bad at all.

Just a quick update. It's looking like early April or maybe very late March is going to be the date. More later, but you Texas folk, and others nearby should really consider coming. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Texas group.
