Wiring Diagram
I'm searching for a wiring or electrical diagram for a 1990 735i. We keep blowing fuses and our brake, dash and back up lights keep going out. Suggestions welcome.
Thanks rkh |

Re: Wiring Diagram
Try these on for size: http://www.autolib.diakom.ru:8001/CA...NG%20DIAGRAMS/
I'm not positive, but I think the Bentley manual has schematics - if you don't have one I'd get one. I wish they'd get off their ass and bring out the E38 book. |

The Bentley's manual has HUNDREDS of pages of wiring diagrams. Try the archives at www.roadfly.com for your car. I've read that a lot of electrical problems are caused by "the mustard relay", named for its color, needs to be resoldered.

Re: Wiring Diagram
the mustard box is one major problem. try to open it up and clean all the contacts. if need be re-solder all broken points. it will save u about 90 bucks.

Re: Wiring Diagram
never heard of it call 'the mustard relay' but think they're refering to the 'parking lamp monitor' relay and is 'yellow', but it only effects the left side or right side running lights. this isn't your problem and i'm still head scratching, i'll look @ a schematic on friday and repost if you haven't solved it by then.
