serpentine conversion SBC

Posted this in general chevy discussion and no takers for an answer yet....
1971 El Camino 350. I want to ditch the V-belts and install a serpentine set up. I don't want to spend the money with March or another company, I would just like to pull everything out of a junk yard if I could. I have power steering and a/c, and a long water pump. Anyone out there know if serpentine set ups are "bolt on" from trucks or other vehicles? If so, what year?

Thanks!

Re: serpentine conversion SBC

Find a late model S-blazer or S10 with the vortech V6. The 4.3 is a small block V8 minus two cylinders and has a serpentine belt system. All of the accessory bolt holes are the same. Buy the pulleys, brackets, and accessories, and bolt them on your Elky.
