hmmmm

i just got stuck in the snow...i left it in gear and got out, with the tires spinning, but when i looked at the back, only one tire was spinning. any reason for this?? thanx

You have an open differential. Most cars have an open differential. You need a limited slip differential (ie Positrac) to get both wheels to spin at the same time.

me have open differential too, I slide around and usually only one tire spins... looks retarded if you ask me but I'm poor so an LSD is out of the question

yeah, but sometimes both tires spin, its crazy, but the one tire that mostly spins is completely bald, and im friggin broke, so im drivin in the snow with a bald drive tire...and btw, i thought 240sx's were two wheel drive, not one. o well, maybe ill get a lsd, btw, how much are they???

they are 2 wheel drive...all the power just goes to the wheel that spins the easiest...LSDs..used i would guess 4-500 check out jspec.com they have'em on there every once in a while...

240s aren't 2wd... they are rwd. all 2wd cars/trucks have an lsd.

pop an lsd on that thing, increases your performance and track times also. only thing is it's really expensive to get and install. look to spend around $1000/installed.

whoa not 1k!! $500-600 should be enough for a used installed. see if u can find a used s13\s14 lsd, best pick i supose...

yeah, im poor tho, i have a grand total of $9 in my bank account, and i couldnt even pay the 750 for the car, i had to borrow from my parents. im worrkin on it tho, lots of hours baggin groceries
