In the first place i would like to suggest the moderator of this forum that he changes the Category name from Vitz to Vitz / Yaris.
In Europe the small Toyota is known as Yaris and until a few days ago never heard about the Vitz. For anybody who doesn't know exactly how this "road-flea" looks like, then check this website: Toyota Yaris btw. my girlfriend has one and it's quite fast. Lightweight with 90 bhp. Enough for 110mph (175km/h). The link above is not correct anymore but anyway just type in Google the Toyota Yaris and you'll get plenty of results.

Re: ever gonna get these here?
only 110 in the 1.3 version (86 hp)?
i used to run the basic 1.0 with only 68hp and i've seen speeds of around 117mph (albeit with a slight down gradient....) which brings me to other question that's always bugged me. how come the official speed limit on the base car is 97mph when i used to regularly see 105+ mph (at around 4700/5000rpm)? is the speedo wrong or are the manufacturer's figures wrong cos there's still 1500/2000rpm before the limiter (never found a road long enough to wind the little thing to the limit in 5th) |
