What Is This Part?

the bolt that holds my fuel line to the fuel rail. it looks like a regulator or screen maybe can somone tell me what it is for?

The banjo bolt has no springs so that must not be what your talking about. Are you talking about the white capped thing on the very end (left end) of the fuel rail? And the fuel line is directly to the right of it?

its round with a plastic cap i have it off in my hand
and if you lossen the screw is will close up

its not the regulator it has no vacumme line going to it its at the very end of the fuel rail left side

its the fuel buffer. its like a regulator, only doesnt use vacuum. its got a check diaphram in it, and it keeps the pressure from being spikey, it smooths it out.
