Guess my E/T

Hey, I've got an '88 Mustang 5.0 5spd. Mods are BBK Stainless Steel Shorty(I think) headers, 2-cat H-Pipe, 3.73 gears, and a Pro5.0 Short Shifter and CAI. What do you think I would run on the 1/4? E/T and MPh? I haven't had the chance to take it to the track yet since I'm in Toronto and it's about negative 45 degrees Celcius here, dead of winter. Thanks in advance,

PapaShlapa

Re: Guess my E/T

Depending on how you can drive the car well, I would say 14.4-14.6

So one cat on each side, would be a two cat h-pipe, would it not?

Well that must be really rare.... a TWO-CAT h-pipe. Man, i always thought they just put a cat on one side of the h-pipe, who would have thought BOTH sides??? I'm sure when they do emissions they just ask which side your GOOD EMISSIONS side is on...hum i think mine is on the left.

Ah, just take the Queensway west until you hit Mavis Rd. and we'll do some 1/4mile testing in the spring - get you ready for the track! Its a great stretch going east from Mavis.

Tell us what tire you're running (and what shape they're in). I think if you had like BFG's on low psi you might pull off low 14's at the track. Edit: no suspension mods??

(Serious though, I often arrange trips to Cayuga and St. Thomas with a bunch of dudes during the summer (all kinds of pony & muscle cars). Come along man - I'm trying to make sure my car will be ready for May two-four long weekend.)
