Engine Types?
i have talked to a few 300zx owners (i will be one myself) and have heard them talking about engine types. i was just wanting to know what the engine types meant like vg30dett. thanx.

vg30dett is the Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo engine. Take tt off and its NA.

also, one more thing, does the name stand for anything? i know the tt stands for twin-turbo (or i think i do) and i guess the 30 stands for 3.0L engine size?

Thats why you have things like SR20DET(A common engine for the 240sx, and a engine that was stock in japan?)... 2.0 liter, then everything else cept second turbo.
