New Owner - Hello!

Hi. I just placed the order for my 350Z and it should arrive in 7-10 weeks. Since I am by no means a "gearhead" or whatnot, I was wondering what suggestions you have as far as mods to my car. I do not really want to put major money into the car at this point, but there might be some parts that I could convince my girlfriend that are "necessary". Let's say, under $550-600 for now. Thanks!

Re: New Owner - Hello!

be prepared...the wait for the car is killer.
for $600..... well depends if you want to focus on looks or performance.
looks: you can get a front lip
performance: you can get RT cats
both: lower the car with eibach springs

you could make the back and look and sound nice, Borla oval muffler with a 4" tip.

bump up your compresion ratio by shaving the head a few thou of an inch, after that though, your gas cost is a bit higher...need a higher octane messurment.

and / or eurolite undercar lighting kit...if it ain't banned where you're at.

Is the Borla exhaust system better than the Nismo? What about tone in each? Wouldn't using the Borla system void my warranty?
