Replacement Engine for 97 Voyager
What engines fit in a 97 voyager? Can other engines from other Dodge/Plymouth models be used? If so, what models and years can be used?
Presently I have a 3.0 liter engine. The reason why I am considering replacement, I have a tapping noise that is constantly present in my engine. Buying a wrecked voyager and taking the engine out of it might be cheaper than having a valve job etc. Any thoughts on this? many thanks Ken |

I had the same problem and fixed the noisy lifters for $3.00 for my 97 Voyageur.
Found a product by Gunk called valve medic. Add it to a hot motor, and in 5-10 minutes the lifters are quiet! Worth a try to save changing motors and the expense. |
