HELP!!! Remote Start/Keyless '97 328is

If somebody replies today I will give your suggestion a try otherwise I am uninstalling what I have done so far on my 328is. I have attempted to hook up a Car and Driver brand remote start/ keyless entry on my car listed above but so far no luck. Problem #1 is the unit and the wiring diagram call for (in the ignition harness) 1. a 12v+ wire 2. a start wire
3. ignition 1 wire 4. ignition 2 wire 5. accessory wire problem is I only see 4 wires I cant seem to find the ignition 2 wire. anyway the unit is in saftey mode when first hooked up. you are supposed to open hood press brake pedal push button 1 of remote and release let off brake close hood and the unit should be in operator mode. in safety mode it is supposed to flash the park lights in operator mode they stop flashing. i cant get them to stop flashing. has anyone hooked up a remote start keyless on this same year/ model BMW? Any help greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks

Mike
