Re: Driftin' an Rsx

I agree. The type R over here is way cool though. I watched them run a mine circut in a manufacturers cup and they are really fast on the track (of course the are worked cars). I think what happens is even though the same models is sold in Japan and the US, the do the "beta" testing on the japanese people, let them drive them for a whole and work out any bug, then they send it to the states. Japanese are a lot less litigagous than their US counterparts. A good examble is the power increase in the latest WRX. 1st gen GF8 and GC8's pushed 240, but the first one in the states I believe had 220.

Re: Driftin' an Rsx

It is a cool fast car, but I'd rather have the older model Type R, looks better

Re: Driftin' an Rsx

I have a 98 on my lot right now. It is fun, but it would need some real tuning before I would consider owning it.....
I prefer the EK9 civic, mostly due to its relatively wide bosy and short wheelbase. I watch them run on the circut all the time and they are really fast. There is a guy who I do a lot of business with who has a "super turbo" EK9, with a blitz supercharger/turbine set up. He pretty much rules the ff races, and has been known to turn some pretty fast laps against the big dawgs (supra/nsx/gtr/etc...)
