So, you're trying to sell the JDM B18C-R for $1600..as in the price starts at $1600 or you're willing to let it go for $1600. Just need some verification. If you're willing to let it go for $1600, then that is a good deal to the buyer, but as the seller, you could ask for a lot more. Also, where did these two motors come from, if an internet source, which?

i am the potential buyer. he says he needs money and hates to sell them. but he'd let them go for $1600 each. I found them from ebay, but he'll cancel the auction if i want one of them.and hes got 300 feedback and all are + so i may buy one of them. this is a direct drop in job right? no mod needed?

$1600 sounds too good to be true. A c5 in good shape would usually cost at least $4000.

Re: b18c good deal?

Make sure they're are no loopholes in the auction, or maybe he's failing to mention something that's vital (ie "ENGINE IN GREAT SHAPE" that could mean the tranny is messed up, etc etc)

It's a VERY good deal, sounds too good to be true, and usually in this industry, it will be.

Know exactly what you're getting.

Well, I do agree with everyone else, that it sounds too good to be true. I mean, $1600 is like a b16. It's understandable that he needs the money, but if he was actually car smart, he would be smart enough to keep it on eBay for MUCH more than $1600. How do you think he managed to get [2] JDM B18C-R for so cheap? My boyfriend has a wholesales account and it isn't even close to $1600. Also, how hard is it to post pictures . Goodluck and be careful.

By the way, I hope you're talking $4000 shipped.

Unfortunately, no. Inlinefour.com (a respectable site, from what I've heard) has an LSD-equipped jdm b18c5 for $5900. That may be a bit steeper than most, but frankly, I've never seen a c5 that was worth buying for $4000 shipped.

Inlinefour.com is a respectable site. Although my BF sells JDM B18C-R for $4300 shipped..I've sold motors to people online so I have the people to prove it. Anyway..good luck to all the shoppers

Re: b18c good deal?

That's a fucking scam and a half, I have seen that exact picture somewhere else on the internet before, I remeber thinking "wow, not a bad deal for the suspension too" Not to mention ITRs with suspension, go for $3800-$5000 EASY, and if he needed the money sooo bad, he wouldn't be waiting on a ebay auction. Also there ah, looks to be a lot more than two engines in those pics, so ah,where are those.

$4300 is a steal. What's the name of your boyfriend's shop, and where is it located?
