hello ppl, happy new year to all. i got a q's. i got 40k for a car and always loved supras and a big fan of fast n furious movies and stuff so i always wanted to mod my new supra when i get 1 but my uncle just keeps on tellin me that its bad to mod up ur car cause the engine will die in 3 months and its better to get an m3 and dont do anything to it so i was wondering if supras engines die fast if u mod a 98 tt to like 500hp and use it as an every day car, and would it atleast last2 years?

I would say if you don't shoot it with nos, it should be ok. But if you're constantly street racing it, doing 100 shots, you're going to kill it.

Get the M3 sounds like momsy and dadsy are just handing you some cash due the fact they probably hate you. Spare the Supra not many left atleast let someone who know's what they are doing and who doesn't like The Gay and the Curious. And 2jz are pretty much bullet proof unless your retarded and just put like 2 bar without any any engine or fuel mods.

i just heard alot of ppl say that making ur car faster and doing things to the engine is really bad for it, 1 of the guys that works for my dad sayd its kinda like if i start taking drugs and roids so i could run 20 mph, well im not gonna last long so same way with a car, but since u say the 2jz is good and wont break down after doing stuff to it in 3 months then ok, thank u! but whats with the my parents dont like me? if they wouldnt then y buy me shit? and btw the m3 looks way better then supras and the supras interior is just shit compared to m3.

Supra still has better placement and a better motor...look up reliability on the M3 you'll be quite surprised 8-9k motor that burns $15 a quart after only 60k on the odometer.

I personally like the interior of the mkiv more than any other car. Just the way the instrument panel faces the driver, makes the driver feel liek the master of the car.
