I have dis-owned my sister. I'm over it. And its not actually a token effort, I have officially done it. After about 10 years of her shit I am now not claiming to know her. Yes I understand that family is family but she's gone too far. 10 years ago she dropped out of school, I'd come home from MY schooling and have her trying to beat the shit out of me and has even on many occasions chased me through the house with large kitchen knives. Good old drug addictions. And my parents would come home and she'd turn on the act and even though they KNEW what she was doing, I'd be the one in the shit. So for the last ten years she's been lying and saying shit to get my parents to hate me and after today when she got my mum so mad at me she flew at me saying Im ugly, stupid and will be lonely forever because of it I decided enough was enough. Oh, any then they tell me Im stupid and a loser because it took me over a year to get the job I wanted. It took the 7 of us who got the course (for the air force) over a year because it was the first course under the new structure and to be honest I was selected out of hundreds for a very good spot. So, yeah, Im over it. Xmas will be fun... without family though.
