Good photoshop book?

Can anyone reccomend a good photoshop book for a newbie? Id like it to be comprehensive with lots of detail covering all of the aspects of photoshop. Price is not a factor. Thanks, Jason

Hi there. There's a book called " Adobe photoshop 7 - Classroom in a book" which is pretty good. I have'nt tried everything in it (I had to return it to the libary), but if you really want to learn about Photoshop you should try it.

I have Photoshop for Dummies book, not too bad alot of good information in it.

I havent seen or heard of the book "Photoshop 7 Bible", but if its a similar series for instance I have "AutoCAD 2000 Bible", then it would be an excellent source of information. I would check that one out.

Re: Good photoshop book?

Books and tutorial will give a good foundation but nothing compares to just "messing around" with photoshop. That's one of the great things about that program - there are several ways to do achieve the same results.
