I replaced my battery now my radio needs a code
I replaced my battery in my 2002 Acura and now by battery needs a freaking code to work. Does anyone have this code or do I need to take it to the dealership. Also does anyone know how to program remotes on these cars I bought one on ebay and I need to know how to program it for the car the numbers on the back of this remote match the one I already own so I was told it would work if programmed for the car.
Thanks for your help |

Re: I replaced my battery now my radio needs a code
check the leather case that came with the car, u konw the one where the info for the car came in. Your code should be in one of the pockets on a card. I believe it's a 5 digit code. Don't worry, if you cannot find it, just call the dealership, ask to speak to either one of the representatives, preferablely the one that sold u the car, or one of the mechanics and ask for your radio code, it may still be in their records. DON'T WORRY IT HAPPEN TO ME TOO. Just konw that whenever u disconnect the battery or remove, i think its the fuse that controls the interior lights, u'll have to put the code into the radio...this is good, cause if someone steals ur radio, it is useless without the code.
