egr valve bypass and evac system bypass

I need to bypass both my egr valve and want to bypass my evac system on my 88 chevy truck. It has a 350 with tbi. Is there a kit to bypass the egr valve or what do I do? I don't know if I am going to bypass my evac system. Is it safe to bypass or what problems will I have? The problem is I have a different air intake system, K&N, and the hose that goes to the air filter isn't connected, and it is making a bad gas smell. So I want to bypass both systems. Please help.

Re: egr valve bypass and evac system bypass

The egr is already messed up so I am bypassing it anyways. But if I really shouldn't mess with the evac system I won't, even though I really would like to. What is the downside to this?
