The temp gauge stopped working after the engine was degreased. I replaced the temp sending unit on top of the water pump, and it is still not working. I checked the back of the instrament cluster and all wires were intact and none were loose. The engine overheating light tested ok. But I would still like a guage! Please help me. It look like the guage wire runs through the onboard computer. Could this be the problem. I dont use the computer, so is there a way just to bypass it?? Thanks, Jim |

What does the gauge read? Does it read hot or cold, pegged out one way or the other or mid point? Does it change reading at all?
Need more info. ---TEX--- |

your questions answered.
The guage reads cold all the time. It never moves.
