Finished: Chevy S10 Xtreme

This is AMT's Chevy S10 Xtreme, I built it for a contest. It's built box stock, I just added the decals on the doors. The paint is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Light Blue.

looks clean, though i have one suggestion. Add bare metal foil behind the light lenses, it will look more realistic and reflect light back like a real car. I like the color!

Looks good.

I haven't seen this kit yet.

Did you lower the suspension at all?
It looks great as it sits..

I like the color matched wheels.

Nice build!
& I love that color!

I may still have to get one of these, if just for the body kit.

Re: Finished: Chevy S10 Xtreme

Nice, except I see three mistakes, rear wheels sit lil bit too far back, the door Xtreme decals go to the front of the door, not the rear, and the driver side mirror is hanging. Other than that its sweet.

Thanks for the nice feedback, guys.

@ CADguy: No, the ride height is box stock.

@ ONEBADMK8: Do you meand the thing in the engine bay that is black and white? If so, I don't know what happened. I painted it and put the finished model into the showcase a few months ago. Tody I took the pictures and saw the effect. I think it looks good, but I want to know what happened. Kinda weird

@ Ran: Sure, you could do. Just send me this logo when it's finished

@gasman03: That's gonna look sweet!

@ 86_SR5: Yeah, right. I had to rush these last things because I had to finish the car for the contest.

Re: Re: Finished: Chevy S10 Xtreme

I might have to the XTREME kit. The "rubber" hoses come with the kit and the back suspension isnt all that too far back.

Yeah, I can see that, but doesn't rushing just make things worse, especially for a constest?
