Got the wshhhhh, where is the pssst

I don't know any technical terms so bare with me here. Are the BOV's for these cars a lot different than say a talon or eclipse? Is there a silencer tube on the stock BOV? Will an aftermaket one make the same noise that the aftermarket ones for talons do?

Thanks, alot. Just got the car don't know much about them.

screw fast and the furious

as far as i know you can change BOVs and it might not necessarily be that a BOV for a VW has a silencer, but more like the brand that you got for it. Why do want a loud one anyway? what wanna look and sound cool like in the fast and the furious??? dude if it works, leave it... so what. it does it's job, it releases pressure. but if you must.. try asking a performance shop if they can switch the BOV or if there are different ones(without silencers)

I already found the solution thanks. Our have diverters instead of typical BOV's, all i gotta do is buy a turbo xs BOV w/ the jetta adapter. And YES i do want the pst sound b/c it is cool....i bought my jetta b/c it's cool....

Anyways, the guy was not old he was asian and he had a porsche and an audi...he gave it to me stock except for the $500.00 chip
