Question Rear Discs

Hey guys I'm new to this forum stuff so bear w/ me on any mistakes. I want to convert the rear drums on my 95 civic 2dr ex to discs. I'm pretty sure I could just go to the junk yard and find my car with disc brakes and take all the neccessary hardware. the problem is I don't know what hardware I need. Also my friend has 90 or 91 crx si rear disc brakes- will those fit on my car? Whats a good price for this conversion?

if you go to the junkyard just pull the entire rear trailing arms as that will have the rotors the calipers and all lines and also pull the Ebrake cable w it. That will save you from having to go to honda or purchase one.
You could pay anywhere from 100+ for that setup just depends on where from and who etc...As for the rex setup I do believe it is diff then the newer civic you have if my memory serves me right...Hope this might help.

Re: Re: Rear Discs

Best bet is to just grab everything you see in the wheel well. That is... if you can find one in the junkyard that hasnt already had them yanked!

You need all this, (and the proportioning valve to complete it)...

Use a 92-95 Si hatch, teg, or a delsol Si/dohc vtec set up. With the delsol or Si hatch, you will need to get ebrake cables to fit your car.
