Motor Mounts Gave Out

I knew that my front mount was gettin weak, and it was kinda rattling sometimes, but I thought Iit could wait for 5 more days unti I got paid to take care of it. I havent driven hard for the last 2 weeks so as to prolong this. Anyways, I was driving back to work from my break, and it started grinding, and it sounded like my axels were bad, you know how it clicks when you turn, but it was doin it louder, and when I was just goin straight. Anyways, got to work, and tried to pop my hood, but couldn't. After work, I went back out there with my manager and he had to pull up on my hood when I was pullin the lever just to get it open. Bottem line, 3 of my mounts broke right out of their housings. Ive never even heard of this happening before, and neither had any of the mechanics at my shop. And both my axels are bent way out now, so I have to get the 3 mounts at 85 apiece and both axels at 65 apiece. Wonderful, just when stuff started to look up...I had just got my windows tinted that morning too.

just swap the motor....no sense spending $400 on repairs....when a B-series is going to cost you like $1000 swapped in all said and done....or less...depending if you do the work yourself and the kinda deals you get.

cheap insurance.....get another front mount from the junkyard...clean it up good with brake clean. get urself some concrete poly in a tube from home depot....fill that mount up with the poly....let cure for 3 days....install. all done....kinda like a poly mount from hasport but not as stiff....gives a lil but not much. decreases wheel hop and helps to extand the life of the mount. dsm'ers do it all the time. i have yet to see one fail. reason i recomend this route over inserts is ive torn a few front mount inserts. this poly mount has been holding up for quite some time now.
