what to do with $2000.......
I'm coming into about $2000 in the next month or so (some of my stocks are returning), and i am having trouble deciding on what to do.
Option 1: suspension upgrades.... --kyb agx shocks --springs of some sort, maybe tein, or eibache --if i can find a good deal on tein or jic coilovers i'd get those instead of the above two. --battle version rear setup (rear upper arm, toe link) --energy suspension bushing kit Option 2: power upgrades.... --forced performance big t28 --JWT ECU tuning --bigger injectors --valve springs, rocker arm stopper and metal head gasket.

u can find the jics or teins for about 1500 or less.
so that leaves u with 500, so u can buy either the bushing kit, or the battle versoin rear.. i'd go this route, and wait till i get a little more cash to buy the part u opted out.

number one. personally, on my car i'm going to be making sure my suspension is all set up before i try to make any real kinds of power.

Kyb AGX dampers, ~$370
Tein Type S drop springs ~$130 so $1500 to go... ES bushing... order through Summit, and they should be $100-150 so you should have lots of cash to carry over for when you are ready for power... in which case, i would buy a lightweight flywheel and ACT clutch. (www.clutchandflywheel.com) That will leave you with like $500 left to put towards... then bigger cams, and some head work... then maybe a turbo kit... |

have to go with #2 but #1 can be good choice because whats the sense of having power if you can't put it to the ground right?

i already have the upgraded clutch. But i think i'm gonna go with kyb agx, tein springs, battle version rear toe link, rear forward links, and rear upper adjustable arms, and new bushings.

Anyways, the Skyline's just a regular Skyline. Nothing big. Gunmetal, lowered, rims. It should look like any other ones out there. |
