alright. this is just a suggestion, and i know i used to be like this myself, but now that i'm a mod and i have to watch over and get rid of anything that shouldn't belong.

so here it is: let's all stop being such elitest bastards and actually try to help people more.

sure the people who ask stupid questions or don't take the time to read the FAQ first can be directed there, but there is no need for flaming, or calling them idiots or such. everyone was, at one point, a n00bie. just think: when you were a n00bie, if it weren't for the help from the veterans at that time, you wouldn't be where you are today. in the same vein, let's try to help some of the noobies that are in the board these days instead of automatically assuming they're no-good bandwagon jumpers. some of them may be just that, but how are we to know until we learn more about them (unless they're posts are just that evident ).

there are some in here (i'm not naming names) that don't even give new members of the board a chance before jumping on them, or making a sarcastic remark etc. i just have to ask: why? for all you know, they could be just like you, and have just found this place for the first time, and want some info.

another thing i have to address is the AF OG Dori Crew. you'll notice i don't have a number. i just...don't think it's a good idea. i don't have any disrespect for any of the members of it, but all i see it as is an effort to make yourself seem higher up and "better" then newbies. they may be new to the site, but that doesn't mean they're new to the scene.

well, that's all i really have to say. you may be wondering WHY this post has been made. well, the last 3 or 4 days have been the hardest of my moderator job so far. some people have been asking some dumb questions, and then there was the whole RB26DETT debacle. i've thankfully not had to ban anyone (that's only an extreme measure), but i've closed at least 4 threads, and nuked numerous pointless/flaming posts. you guys know the rules, and if you don't, i welcome you to click the link in my signature and read them. i'm not a Nazi, and i'm not trying to be an asshole here, but this board has been pretty bad the last few days, i don't want to see that. i want to see us all getting along and sharing information and stories about our beloved 240SX's.

i welcome your input in this thread. if you guys that are acting this way (you know who you are) give me some legit reasons why you act this way, then we'll forget the whole thing.

i agree that i hate to see the drifting/240SX scene being blown up and having ricers flow into the scene and into the boards, but there are ways to turn them away besides flaming.

i got that impression to that some of the posters on this forum were assholes since i got flamed in my first post in this forum, but whatever. I really dont know what peoples problems are, and its none of my concern. Never had this much problem in the Nissan Z forum. But ill still be here to help new posters out if they need help, since what really counts is what they want..and not what everyone else wants..if they wana be SUPER RICE BOY, then they have every right to do so. Just be prepared to get tea bagged by the end of the day.

Engine Tuning is my specialty, if any have question (noobs or not) about Modifications and Upgrading. Dont Hesitate to ask me, and ill see what i can do for ya. Drive Safe and Responisble!!
