Thumbs up One of the nicest cars ever build

The AC Cobra, one of the nicest cars ever build. When I noticed Fujimi came out with a new AC Cobra kit I ordered it together with the Studio 27 etch set and the Sakatsu set at HLJ. When the kit arrived I get some mixed feelings. The body shape was perfect but the trims and tyres were too small and the engine parts were very simplefied. But when I opened the Studio 27 set and when I saw the Sakatsu set I forget my disapointment.

The model is painted with Tamiya metallic blue sprayed over one coat metallic black, to give the the blue some darkness.
All the chrome parts I painted with Alclad and I used the big and littles rims and tyres from an old GT40 kit. I detailed the engine a bit and I added a real wooden steering wheel from Replicars and Minitiatures.

The Studio 27 set is perfect but they all are and t was fun to work with the Sakatsu set.

I hope you like the model, well I do anyway.

This is an absolute stunner! A lot of effort went into it, and it shows! And it was worth it too! Great model.

Hold tight! I believe the server was moved earlier so some of the links to pics are disrupted, should be ok soon.
