Tamiya Honda S2000 led

Hi everybody, I finally post one of my finished models. I have just finished it and even thought I've done a dozen of models before this one is my best one I think. I really tried to achieve the best result I could with what I had. It's by seeing the amazing builds on this forum that I thought I couldn't just make kits but I had to make them look real good. I just got an airbrush but very very few parts of this have been airbrushed.

The body paint is Tamiya TS-42 light gun metal, I didn't use any primer or clear coat. Just soe polishing with 2000grit sand paper and Tamiya fine/finish compound.
The interior has been painted with Tamiya TS-26 semi glos black and the beige is Revell enamel hand brushed.
The rims have been stripped from their chrome which I don't find realistic for such a car and I hand brushed Revell enamel 99 aluminum.
Window trims have been painted by hand with Revell semi gloss black enamel and I used Tamiya Panel Accent Line Color to fill the lines to get perfect lines shapes.
Tamiya Acrylics have been used too.

other pics as small vignettes so it doesn't take too much space on the page, click on them for bigger size:

There it is, feel free to comment/rate and other pics will be coming soon because there's a little something special about that car, maybe some of you will notice...

EDIT: that's the little special thing about it:

Re: Tamiya Honda S2000

Other than it being a superbly built car, I can't tell anything super special. I can say that the interior looks great for having been brush painted, so does the trim. If you give the wheel centers a very light acrylic wash of very thinned out black, paint the center caps gloss black and the lugs chrome silver, that would make the visual impact that much better.

You did a fantastic job on the paint too, hard to believe you got that good a shine from just metallic paint. Usually polishing metallics makes them dull and the sparkle goes away.

Re: Tamiya Honda S2000

Thanks !

But one thing I need to clarify just in case, about the interior painting the dashboard and the part between the seats have been painted with Tamiya TS-26 therefore it looks so nice but the rest is hand brushed (all the beige colors, the stirring wheel, the black part behind the seats). I'm just saying this so I don't get credits for like cheating.

rsxse240: I'm not sure what you mean I should do with the wheel, I did try to put decals on them provided with the kit. The Honda logo that should go on the middle of the rims but I had problem with every decal of this kit except the one on the dashboard. They all broke. I've been able to repair the front and back Honda logo at the point where you cannot even notice it was broken, but for the rim ones it was impossible to repair so I just gave up using them.

And the little special will hopefully be posted today, I just need to take a few more pics of the car...
