One of my flea market finds. No instructions so I'm pretty much winging it. Kit has positionable front wheels, body accents, 2 different front bumpers and 2 styles of rims. Lambo 5 hole or 5 spoke, probably going with the 5 spoke. And i think I'm going to cut down the spoiler...too tall.

When i started test fitting this i noticed a lot of "open" areas. The front wheel well is not complete and there is no true engine bay. So i fixed that with a bit of plastic.

I think I'm going to go with a tan/black interior, and Gloss Sail Blue exterior. Wish me luck in my blind assembly. Ill get more pics as I go.

Dry fit everything about a thousand times before the final assembly, this kit is very tough to get proper fitment (as typical AMT of that era). However, I've seen several come out quite nice over the years. Most have used wheels that come from other sources.

Painted the engine bay area but might put a layer of dull coat.

I painted the body in gloss sail blue. Its different but when everything is together is looks good. Test fitting has found lots of flaws, fitment issues and such. Ill get pics when the paint is dry. Still waiting on instructions.

no new posts...oh well...Most of the painting is done. Body is almost complete engine is on the chassis...ill lets pics show it. how do you all like the plate? lol...

one more quick question...Does the firewall between the engine and the interior get the fireproof silver stuff? I could not find any good pics of this area. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
