IAC valve
Hi, I have recently had issues with my IAC valve. My car wouldn't start except by holding down the gas peddle and would immediatly die after releasing it. So I replaced the IAC valve and was fine. But it started doing it again. I have noticed this has happened each time after my battery has died and I had to charge it to start. Is there a corralation between the IAC and battery? Thanks for any imput on this riddle.

Re: IAC valve
I would say no unless you have some shorts somewhere. I would have my alternator tested. Auto part stores will do it for free.

Re: IAC valve
I have had some electrical issues in the past. I wonder if I have a short some where. Thanks for the reply.
