Very nice turnout of Lemans cars. They had almost all the Lemans winners in 1/24th scale on display.

Here are some pictures taken by fellow club member Paul Johnston (martini man on this forum). I brought in 29 of the LeMans winners I have built so far, still a bunch to go! Also, a pair of Martini Lancias by Paul, a scratch built Spice Fiero, the Gray Ghost and our Alan Kulwicki memorial award winner.

Very nice contest!!.. as far as i can see.. the main theme was 24 lemans .. right??

Actually the main theme was sports cars & road racing, Le Mans winners was the sub-theme. It just happens to be the focus of my collection.

Very nice collection Mike. That sportscar table was packed full of great models. Maybe next year you can have a road racing theme again. I also enjoyed some of the other tables. I could not believe what one modeler did with regular American 1/25th promo models. Good to see such a strong turnout.

I wish Lemans Miniatures would put some of their old kits back in production.

Thanks guys! NNL21 "Legal in all 50 States" will have a theme of alcohol, tobacco & firearms sponsored cars so should be a good turnout of racers of all types. Sub-theme of 60 years of the Corvette should be able to offer up a few too. Mark your calendar for April 13, 2013!
