1995 Regal Transmission problem - Lost R, 3, OD

I have a 1995 regal with the 3.8 that just rolled over 200k. Last week driving home from work I had the cruise set on 65. I slowed down while going through a town and once through hit the cruise back up to 65. A couple seconds later the engine reved up and lost OD. I pulled it down to 3 and nothing. I pulled it down to 2nd gear and I limped it home that way.

When going from P to R...nothing.
You can put it in 1 or 2 and works fine.
If you put in in 3 or D it will shift fine up until it hits 3 and then just revs up.

Am I screwed or is it something simple?
Thanks!

I don't know if you are screwed or not but you will need a rebuild or replacement transmission given the information you listed. Most electronically controlled transmissions will go in to limp mode when something goes wrong internally. I suggest a local transmission shop to diagnose further.
