Please help us with the AF 350Z Project

Hi Everyone!

I am hoping to take advantage of our very talented graphic arts community in helping us create the exterior styling of the AF 350Z Project.

I think that this is a good image to use for the car:

Additionally, front and rear shots are available:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z/decals/front.jpg
http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z...s/fronttop.jpg
http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z...s/frontlow.jpg
http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z/decals/back.jpg

Some of the names appearing below as sponsors are preliminary and may change. (logos available here: http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z/decals/logos/ )

<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com">AutomotiveForums.com</a> (please do not include on the side of the car)
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.playersrun.com">Players Run</a> (please do not include on the side of the car)
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com">Vortech</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.stoptech.com">StopTech</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.xerd.com">XERD</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.webamuse.co.jp">Amuse</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.yokohamatire.com">Yokohama/Advan</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.tiltonracing.com">Tilton</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.streetsports.com">Street Sports</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.sracing.com">SR Racing</a>
<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.perfnissan.com/racing.shtml">Performance Nissan Racing</a>

The car will most likely not use any visually enhancing exterior components, so please do not modify the body of the car.

My idea is to have the decals maintain the gold/brickyard color scheme of the car, which means that the decals should all be the same gold color. However, feel free to sway from this guideline, as I would love to see what you guys can come up with! Many of the companies above have logos but others simply use their name.

Please feel free to ask any questions you have regarding this matter.

I am currently contemplating how we will thank you guys materially for helping us.

how does this look. i couldn't get the Amuse logo on it. there is a lot of logos on it. i made it two tone so that it wouldn't seem that there was that much. also i am to lazy to go back and fix the red in the players run logo..but i ment for it to be the "brick" red you wanted.

This isn't ment to perfect this is just my idea of how i would do it.

WOW

That is quite impressive.

My dislikes:
-overall look appears to be a bit cramped
-I would like to see "AutomotiveForums.com" including the .com part and also the 'waviness' takes away from the seriousness of the car.

I really did not expect such great work to be posted so quickly though. That is really good.

yea i agree that it does look cramped. i tried not to make it look like a race car with sponsor decals all over it but there is a lot that you wanted on there....ill put the .com in it if you want to see it and also i didn't understand the waviness you are talking about. i will fix that also....as soon as i know what you are talking about

Re: Please help us with the AF 350Z Project

The skewed look of the "Automotive Forums" text.

Re: Please help us with the AF 350Z Project

Now that I think about it, it may be better not to have AutomotiveForums.com and Players Run on the side of the car - there is plenty of room on other parts of the car's body.
That will hopefully uncramp the space to make it a bit more 'elegant.'

Re: Please help us with the AF 350Z Project

went for the clean approach

I redid the wheels too because they look more yellow before and i wanted the decals to match the wheel color. BTW Advan TCII are sick. I came sooooo close to getting those in gunmetal 18"... I ended up with Advan Kreuzer ser V gunmetal which look really similar.

could you put a view of the car from the top, front, and back. I would put the players run logo on the hood
