Progress - Fujimi RX-7 (SA22C) w/ bolt-on fenders

Yup, a progress thread. Despite the fact that my creating a progress thread usually dooms said model to partially-built-never-to-be-finished hell. Anyway, my attempt at completed model #2 for 2005.

The kit is a Fujimi RX-7 (SA22C, 1st gen) with the bolt-on wide fenders. It's all one piece so no messing with Fujimi's traditional parts fit issues. Wheels are Longchamp XR-4's. Very basic kit. Almost zero chassis detail. Basic interior. All in hopes of a quick, painless build. Final color will probably be British Racing Green. Interior will be grays and blacks. The popup headlights will be "winking".

A few light coats of primer on the body on the assembled chassis. The front was lowered slightly.

Re: Progress - Fujimi RX-7 (SA22C) w/ bolt-on fenders

you make me wanna get to work on mine. should be a quick build since (as you said) the mody mods are one piece. can't wait to see it completed. one question though, did it come with the long champs or did you buy it separately? mine came with some work equip wheels.

i've seen this kit many times in the past, was wondering whether or not it included the fender flares knowing fujimi, but it looks pretty good! looking forward to seeing it finished, good luck!
