WTB Throttle Body Spacer

I have a 92 K1500 with the 5.0L I am wanting to put a throttle body spacer on it but dont want to pay the price they want for a hunk of aluminum. I have done my research and found that the spacers are pretty much worthless EXCEPT....on TBI and carb engines. I have read several testimonials and talked to several people that said they put one on their TBI engine and it did make it a little more snappy with acceleration, as well as it helped their trucks to not downshift on hills as much as well. Anyone have one on here they would want to sell?

Thanks in advance,
Wesley

Some people swear by them, some others swear at them. I put one on my old dodge and I could tell a difference slight but every little bit helps.

Re: WTB Throttle Body Spacer

Thanks guys for the info. I have decided to put one on so what I was wandering is if anyone here had one they didnt use that I could buy from them? Also if not where is the cheapest website to get one and which one should I get? I want performance from it....and I also kind of like the whistle sound it produces. So which one should I get? Was thinking about the Trans-Dapt torque swirl. Anyone have any experience with it performance wise as well as sound wise?

not the airaid one, but the next one down. i got a k1500 with 5.7 on a 5 speed stick, and i get 20 to the gallon... not to mention, the pep... it's hot. i'm a total believer... but that's just me... i can't say about the swirled one. i wouldn't mind trying it... but i got to fix my trans first... lol
