Exhaust for neon

so my stock neon R/T is getting a little outdated, mainly on the exhaust side, and i want a little bit of a deeper tone. any recommendations? how are Glasspack style mufflers? and should i intall it where the old muffler is? going across from left to right(looking at back of the car)?
