00 Firebird BCM Question

Hello, I have a 2000 Firebird base coupe with 50k, I've owned the car since it had 20K on it. So far I've changed the power window motor on the Drivers side, both headlight motors, power antenna ariel, radio display light bulb, and one coil pack. Now the "secruity light" is on full time and the horn went ka-put and the radio shuts off at random (car still starts/runs fine) seems like the BCM is going and If so I need to change it out with a new one as my daughter drives this car 6 hours on the interstate to and from college and is 6 hours away from home at college. I don't need it shutting down on her on the road or away. If I put in a new BCM is it easy to set it to the current key and fob? Thanks for any help.
