Question 1986 Chrysler Lebaron (Restoration)

Im wiring the original radio back in, took out the "New" flashy one.
I tapped grounded a wire and now when the cars running, i flip my lights on and sure enough the dimmers stopped working.

Im checking the 6 amp fuse, it didnt appear blown but no other fuse was blown and its the last one wired to my dash from the fuse block.

It was a small zap like discharge then it was lights out.

I could through up a demonstration video if need be. If someone could gimme a suggestion that'd be pretty helpful cause im a little baffled.

Really sounds like a crossed wire or a grounding problem to me. Did you go by the wiring diagram? Sounds like it will be a nice car, wish I had mine back.
