Weird Thing with the Turning Signal
Hello community,
I have a weird problem with the turning signal of my 1998 Lumina LS. Only the left rear one is not working anymore. I replaced the bulb, but still not working. The relais (flasher) is still clicking, fast like the bulb is gone. Any idea what this can be? Thx Last edited by MAD King; 09-10-2011 at 11:58 PM. |

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal
Bad socket or broken ground on that side.

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal
The other possibility is the signal switch itself. A little time with a voltmeter under the steering column might help isolate the problem.

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal
Would this cause that only one turning signal is not working? I thought if the switch is gone both signal aren't working.

No they are seperate circuits.....but I would be leaning towards the socket.....

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal
Check for power at the socket, and work your way towards the blinker switch....checking the wire and connections as you go.
