Weird Thing with the Turning Signal

Hello community,

I have a weird problem with the turning signal of my 1998 Lumina LS.
Only the left rear one is not working anymore. I replaced the bulb, but still not working.
The relais (flasher) is still clicking, fast like the bulb is gone.
Any idea what this can be?

Thx

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal

Bad socket or broken ground on that side.

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal

The other possibility is the signal switch itself. A little time with a voltmeter under the steering column might help isolate the problem.

Would this cause that only one turning signal is not working? I thought if the switch is gone both signal aren't working.

Re: Weird Thing with the Turning Signal

Check for power at the socket, and work your way towards the blinker switch....checking the wire and connections as you go.
