park assist speaker
I have narrowed down my problem with it being a problem with the rear park assist speaker. I called my local dealer and he said they are on backorder, probably SOL.
Does anybody have access to the part number for the speaker on a 2000 SEL Windstar? I have looked all over with no luck finding this elusive part. We tested the ircut with a light that plugged into the socket and it worked fine. |

Re: park assist speaker
Did you test the speaker itself?
Connect two wires to the speaker connector and at the other side connect one of the wires to a AA (1.5 volts) battery and with your hand give the other wire several slight touches to the opposite side of the battery, you will hear a small cracking sound coming from the speaker if it's working. If you can't hear anything then the speaker is bad. I'm sorry I cannot help with the part number my manual doesn't show it. Oscar.
