balljoint torque specs?
Hi, I have a 96' blazer 4wd that I am replacing all four balljoints on. I have them installed but I'm having trouble finding the torque specs on the balljoint to steering knuckle studs. The Haynes manual says to torque according to the balljoint instruction which ofcoarse came with no instructions lol. Thanks

Re: balljoint torque specs?
The spec. for the 4 bolts that replace the rivets is 17 lbft. The balljoint stud to knuckle spec. is 79 lbft then tighten just enough to line up cotter pin holes. Happy tourqing!
