Peugeot 206 WRC Kulig/Baran Rally Antibes 2002

Hi,
I've just started this project. It is going to be my first WRC model so your advice and assistance will be highly appreciated
I started with the 1999 and 2002 kits + decals from Reji models as a base for this kit.
Here is a photo of the original:

First I cut the front bumpers from both kits to make a quick swap (halogen light covers on the '99 are wrong)

I also opened the main intake on the bonnet and layed some cf decals on the seats and checked if they're going to be visible at all

That's about it for now

Cheers
Emil

Very clean work so far, will follow this closely, I have the 1/43 decal for this livery.

Quick update:
Tamiya's sides of the rollcage don't look very convincing. They required a lot of boring cutting but I hope it was worth the time and the effort since it'll allow the cf door panels to be seen. I still have to do some putty work etc but it's starting to take shape.

That's it for now

Hello,
Latest news on Pug:
I painted it white, masked, painted silver, masked, painted red and... Red turned almost brown instead of bright red - lesson learned (red only over white base). So it stripped it and started over. This time, however I left ts-17 for last. I almost finished decaling it too. Here's where I am at the moment:

Superb, indeed. I am really liking this build. The work on those decals looks like quite a challenge.

Thanks guys
Actually, decaling has been fun so far... It's just taking forever to finish haha
Masking on the other hand was pretty tough. Especially the thin silver stripe, that goes along the red stripe.
I'm almost done decaling pretty much only tear wing is left to be done
Here is where I am at the moment:

Looks absolutely great.
That must have been one hell of a masking job indeed, but it really looks perfect.
